IBM University Relations Cloud Hackathon



Cloud open standards and open source are the key to achieving interoperability and eliminating vendor lock-in across the industry. IBM builds its cloud offerings on open standards to ensure interoperability and accelerate clients' success with cloud. As a Platinum member of the OpenStack Foundation, IBM actively encourages the adoption of standards in the open source community and is making significant contributions in support of OpenStack's goal of developing a ubiquitous, massively scalable open source cloud platform. To promote awareness and development of skills relevant for this platform in academia,

IBM University Relations program brings to you "Cloud Hackathon" an opportunity to Learn, Compete and win some exciting prizes and opportunity to work with IBMers on interesting Open Cloud projects.

The event opens on 21st January 2014 and we will like to invite engineering colleges to participate and make this event a success.
